Desert tours to Lake Iriki

 

This trip allows you to discover the desert in a short time and sleep in the beautiful dunes remained wild Erg El Mhazil located in Lake Iriki National Park

Itinerary

Day 1 : Agadir - Erg El Mhazil

​

In the morning, we leave for the desert crossing the great south of Morocco. We pass through the famous cities of Taroudant, Taliouine and Tazenakht, until we reach Foum Zguid, the city of the desert gates. With the 4x4 we leave on the stony track taking the time to observe the varied landscapes. We take a break in an oasis, around the well where animals and herds come to drink, with a beautiful view of the mountains in the shape of plateaus. Then we stop to observe fossils, memories of prehistoric life.

We arrive in the afternoon at the bivouac, hidden in the middle of the dunes. You can rest and take the time to admire the landscape, climb to the top of the great dune to see the sublime sunset that covers the sea of dunes and the plains of the dry lake of Iriki in the distance. 

The evening is the time to share a delicious Moroccan meal, cooked on site, by candlelight and under the huge and bright celestial vault above you. After the meal, we will resonate the sound of derboukas for a festive time around the campfire.

You can then sleep in tents or under the stars if you feel like it.

Day 2 : Erg El Mhazil - Agadir

In the morning, after the spectacle of sunrise and a hearty breakfast, enjoy admiring once again the dunes soothing atmosphere. We take the road by the track to Foum Zguid then we join Agadir passing further south, by Tata then Taroudant to make you enjoy these beautiful scenery.

We arrive in Agadir in the late afternoon.
