Itinerary

Day 1: Agadir - Erg Chegaga

​

Departure in the morning from your hotel in Agadir. We take the road through Taroudant, Taliouine where we enjoy lunch in the city of saffron, then Foum Zguid.

From Foum Zguid, we go on the track in 4x4. This is the beginning of the Iriki National Park and its large desert areas. We will see different landscapes before arriving at the first dunes of the Erg Chegaga. Bordered by tamarisk, the sandy road leads us to the bivouac. From the camp, you have a beautiful view of the highest dune of Morocco, 300m high.

Upon arrival, you can enjoy a camel ride at sunset, it is a magical spectacle. 

In the evening, you will dine with a delicious traditional tajine and the evening ends with music around the campfire with the team of nomads who share this moment with joy. Take the time to admire the thousands of stars above you because they are the most beautiful in the desert!

You will sleep under the comfortable tents of the bivouac, in the silence of the desert.

 

Day 2: Erg Chegaga - Agadir

After a good night’s sleep, take advantage of early sunrise to watch the sunrise over the dunes and all its beautiful colors. Afterwards, you can have breakfast outdoors to enjoy nature and clean air. We resume the road in the morning towards Agadir. We drive through the dry lake of Iriki with a view of the dunes on one side and the Jbel Bani mountains on the other. We will take a lunch break according to the time in Foum Zguid or Tazenakht, the town of wool carpets. We arrive in the late afternoon at your hotel in Agadir after seeing beautiful landscapes on the way and passing through typical villages.
