The south of Morocco is a great cultural wealth and immerses you in a special atmosphere that leads to relaxation and the meeting of its inhabitants. From Agadir to the great spaces of the Sahara, this tour will immerse you in ochre and sand scenery where it is good to live and where you must take the time to appreciate every moment.

Itinerary
Day 1 : Agadir - Tafraoute - Tata
​We will leave in the morning from your hotel in Agadir towards Tata. We will take the road from the south which allows to cross small picturesque villages. Like that of Tafraoute, located in the Anti Atlas where you can admire the amazing rock shapes and the green almond and olive cultures. We will take the opportunity to stop and have lunch in this great natural setting. South of the Anti Atlas, we will continue the road to Tata, capital of the province of Souss Massa. You can take the time to walk in its oasis and in the city to appreciate the Moroccan atmosphere around a tea for example. We will spend the first night in Tata.

Day 2 : Tata - Foum Zguid - Erg El Mhazil
In the morning we will continue the road towards Foum Zguid. On the way, we will make a detour by the waterfall of Tissint to admire its salty waters, a small corner of paradise. We will have lunch in Foum Zguid, in the lively city center. You can enjoy some local shopping such as nomadic chèches or embroidered fabrics, spices, olive oil, our guide will advise you. From Foum Zguid, we will leave on the track that takes us into the Iriki National Park. There the scenery changes, from the desert spaces of stones to the first sand dunes, beginning of the Sahara. Our 4x4 will take us to the Erg El Mhazil, the dunes where the camp awaits us. You can admire the sunset over the sandy sea and after an evening of music around the fire, you will sleep under one of the large tents of the bivouac.

Day 3 : Erg El Mhazil - Zaouiat Sidi Abdnenabi
The sunrise over the dunes is a spectacle not to be missed when you are in the desert. Followed by a good breakfast, you will be full of energy to start this day. You will leave on camels towards the dry lake Iriki to cross its vast plains to the village of Zaouait Sidi Abdenabi. A small village of some nomadic families located at the foot of the mountains of Djebel Bani. There, our guest house welcomes you. In this haven of peace and quiet, you will have lunch in the shade of acacias. A nap time under these trees is often much appreciated! You can enjoy the afternoon to relax or explore the surroundings. In the evening, after dinner around the fire, you will sleep in one of the rooms of our small adobe house.

Day 4 : Zaouait Sidi Abdenabi - engraving rocks
We will leave in the morning on foot for a hike that will lead us to rock engravings a few kilometers from the village to the mountains of Jbel Bani. We will be back at the guesthouse for lunch. In the late afternoon, when the hours are less hot, we will make you visit the village of Zaouait Sidi Abdnenabi with its ksar, its oasis and its agriculture. You can then enjoy a last night in our guest house, in the absolute calm of the surrounding nature.

Day 5 : Zaouait Sidi Abdenabi - Tazenakht - Taliouine
After breakfast, we will leave on the track towards Foum Zguid. Then, the road will lead us to Tazenakht, the carpet city where the walls of the stalls adorn multitudes of colors of these unique handcrafted confections. We’ll have lunch there. Then we will reach the main road that connects Ouarzazate to Agadir and we will stop at Taliouine. This small town is known worldwide for its saffron production. So will be the opportunity to stop there, visit the saffron cooperative and spend a night in a city hotel.

Day 6 : Taliouine - Taroudant - Agadir
In the morning, we take the road to Taroudant. Nicknamed the small Marrakech, this city surrounded by ramparts is full of charm. So we will take the time to stop there. You can choose to visit the medina on foot or enjoy a carriage ride around the city and discover some secrets in an unusual way. In the afternoon, we will finish this tour by joining Agadir, located only 1h30 from Taroudant.
